A small fire, exposing a one-story multi-unit building in North Hollywood was knocked down Saturday.

At 4:10 p.m. Saturday, smoke was reported emanating from the vacant apartment building in the 11400 block of Archwood Street, near Tujunga Avenue, in North Hollywood, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The outside fire was knocked down in 15 minutes, preventing it from extending into the nearby building.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
