Police recovered three handguns, including an unserialized “ghost gun,” during two unrelated arrests in Long Beach, authorities said Tuesday.
Officers recovered the “ghost gun” at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday during a traffic stop in the 5100 block of Atlantic Avenue and a suspect was arrested at the scene, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
At about 10:55 p.m., officers responding to a group disturbance call in the 5900 block of Linden Avenue spotted some people walking away from a vehicle, then allegedly saw two handguns in the car. The guns were recovered and a suspect was arrested in that case too, police said.
Both investigations were ongoing.
