A hang glider was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries Sunday after striking power lines in the unincorporated North Shore area of Riverside County, authorities said.
The injury was reported around 8:25 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Highway 111 and Desert Beach Drive, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The hang glider was rushed to a hospital by helicopter.
The Imperial Irrigation District responded to the scene to check the power lines.
No further information was immediately available.
