Los Angeles Fire Department crews rescued a 35-foot commercial boat taking on water off the coast of San Pedro Friday, preventing it from going under.
The rescuers were summoned at 12:27 p.m. to the area, LAFD’s Lyndsey Lantz said.
Firefighters pumped out water as they towed the boat to shore, according to Lantz.
No injuries were reported, and no further details were immediately available.
