The California Highway Patrol Saturday activated an Endangered Missing Advisory to help Monrovia police locate a missing 50-year-old woman.

Lisa Harell was last seen at about 6 p.m. Friday in Monrovia, the advisory said. It did not specify the exact location.

She is believed to be on foot, the CHP said.

Harell is Black, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, wearing a jean jacket, green pants and pink sandals.

Anyone with information to help locate Harell is asked to call 911.

The CHP issues an Endangered Missing Advisory when a person goes missing under unexplained or suspicious circumstances. It is issued when the missing person is believed in danger because of their age, health or mental or physical disability or with a potentially dangerous person or any other factor that could put them in serious peril. Activating the advisory also requires information to be available that could assist in a safe recovery is disseminated to the public.
