An arsonist who drove up to a food truck in downtown Los Angeles, set it on fire and drove away from the scene in the early hours Monday.
The fire was reported by the owner of the truck around 2:15 a.m. Monday, at the intersection of Fourth and Hill streets, close to Grand Central Market, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Surveillance footage shows the suspect stepping out a van and lighting a fire beneath the truck.
A similar incident from last year had led to one person being taken into custody, KTLA5 reported. The owner estimated damages to amount to at least $4,000.
