A dead person was discovered early Wednesday morning near the Venice Boardwalk, authorities said.
Just before 7 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a call regarding a dead body found in the 300 block of Ocean Front Walk, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police said the victim was a man in his 30s, but further details on his identity and how he came to be there were not immediately available.
The investigation was ongoing.
