A 56-year-old La Quinta man suspected of engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a minor and methamphetamine possession has been taken into custody, authorities announced Friday.
Rolando Garza was taken into custody Wednesday around 1:50 p.m. following the execution of a search warrant by the Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force, with the assistance of Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force personnel in the 50-000 block of Calle Quito in La Quinta, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Garza was booked into the John J. Benoit Detention Center on suspicion of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, oral copulation with a minor and possession of methamphetamine, sheriff’s officials said.
