Two women and a six-month-old baby were wounded Saturday in a car-to-car shooting in the Jefferson Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The shooting occurred at 4:35 p.m. Saturday in the 3900 block of West 27th Street, Los Angeles Police Department Officer J. Chaves told City News Service.

The three victims were sitting in a car when another vehicle drove past and fired into their vehicle, Chaves said.

A 40-year-old woman, a 20-year-old woman and 6-month-old boy were taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment, where they were listed with stable vital signs, he said.

The shooting was believed to have been gang-related, Chaves said.
