Firefighters put out a fire Monday in a Historic South-Central commercial building used to grow marijuana.
The fire was reported at 3:55 a.m. Monday at 3901 S. Broadway Place in a 10,000-square- foot building, said the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Lyndsey Lantz.
“Firefighters made access to the building, identified as a grow operation, and identified light smoke inside,” Lantz said. “Fire was then located and extinguished quickly.”
No injuries were reported, she said.
