A motorist was killed Tuesday after crashing into a tree in Pomona.
Officers responded around 9:45 a.m. to reports of a sedan that collided with a tree at White and Berkeley avenues, according to the Pomona Police Department.
Paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Other vehicles were involved in the collision, but no additional injuries were reported, according to police.
Detectives from the Major Accident Investigation Team were continuing an investigation into the collision Monday afternoon.
