Police Tuesday are investigating a shooting in the Harvard Heights neighborhood of South Los Angeles where one man was killed and another man and a woman were wounded.
The shootings were reported around 6:25 p.m. Monday and Los Angeles Police Department officers from the Southeast Division responded to the area of Normandie Avenue and 15th Street where they learned the victims were standing near the corner when a vehicle drove by and the passengers fired several shots, striking all three victims, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
The victims were taken to a hospital, where one of the men was pronounced dead, police said. The other two victims were listed in stable condition.
There was no suspect or vehicle description.
