It took firefighters a little over half an hour to put out flames in a wall of a row of commercial businesses in the Fairfax area of Los Angeles Friday.
The fire was reported at 8:42 a.m. Friday at 601 N. La Brea Ave., said Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz.
The smoke was light to moderate when firefighters arrived, Lantz said. ” Firefighters proceeded in offensive mode, opened up walls and achieved knockdown in 33 minutes.”
Firefighters remained at the scene to put out hot spots, she said.
No injuries were reported.
