The Palm Springs Police Department advised residents Saturday that AT&T services were disrupted in the Coachella Valley area due to unknown circumstances.
Police said AT&T customers were unable to send texts or make calls unless connected to Wi-Fi, and the department’s dispatch center could still receive notifications of attempted 911 calls from AT&T customers.
“AT&T is aware of the issue and is actively working to resolve this problem,” the department stated in a press release Saturday.
