A collision between a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department patrol vehicle and a civilian’s car in Carson left one deputy hospitalized Sunday evening.
The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. Sunday near the bus stop at the intersection of Central Avenue and Helmick Street, KTLA5 reported.
The deputy was responding with no lights and sirens, when the vehicle was T-boned on the driver’s side of the car.
The driver of the other car remained at the scene and was uninjured, according to the report.
The condition of the deputy was unclear at the time.
