A Banning woman who was killed in a head-on collision in front of a fast-food restaurant in Cabazon was identified Monday.
Shaundeen Boniface, 46, was fatally injured shortly after 9:30 p.m. Sunday at Morongo Trail and Seminole Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Another person was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, and Caltrans was requested at the scene to repair 30 feet of damaged chain link fence near the Redlands (10) Freeway.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
