A person was hospitalized after being stabbed in the back in downtown Los Angeles Monday.
The stabbing was reported around 7:30 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Spring Street and Cesar Chavez Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
Officers continued to investigate the scene. It was unclear whether the stabbing was related to demonstrations against President Donald Trump.
