Two restaurants on the same street in Chinatown were on fire Wednesday, with some witnesses saying a suspect was seen carrying a gas can in the area.
The fires were reported around 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, on Broadway, the restaurants by the intersections of College and Alpine streets in downtown Los Angeles, KTLA5 reported.
Witnesses described seeing a suspect with a gas can, but law enforcement had not officially confirmed the information, according to the report.
