Police sought the public’s help Thursday in identifying a suspect who robbed a Sherman Oaks gas station at gunpoint.
The robbery was reported around 4 p.m. Feb. 11 in the 12800 block of Riverside Drive, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police said a male suspect entered the gas station, approached the cashier counter, then pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money from the register.
The cashier, “in fear for his life,” gave the suspect an unspecified amount of money, and the suspect fled east in a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup, police said.
The suspect was described as a 5-foot-5-inch tall man weighing approximately 200 pounds between 40 to 50 years old. He was last seen wearing a black beanie, glasses, a long-sleeve sweater, gray pants, tan boots, and a white N95 respirator mask.
Investigators believe the suspect’s vehicle was a white 2003-2006 Chevrolet Silverado pickup with a black metal frame on the bed, a black cover on the front wheel well, and basic rims with a five-hole design.
