Residents of a Santa Ana house were taken to a hospital after a smoky fire broke out there Saturday.
The fire was reported at 3:33 p.m. Saturday in the 4000 block of West Kent Avenue, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
The residents were out of the house before firefighters began their attack on the blaze, and were treated for undisclosed injuries at the scene by paramedics before being taken to a hospital for further care.
There was no description of those residents, nor any information about their conditions.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
