Authorities sought the public’s assistance Wednesday in locating a 17-year-old girl last seen in South Los Angeles.

Monet S’mone Fennell was last spotted on Feb. 2 in the 1200 block of West 105th Street around 7:30 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Fennell was described as a 5-feet-5-inch tall Black girl weighing 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray sweater with black trimming and gray leggings.

Sheriff’s officials said Fennell frequents Jesse Owens Park and is possibly in the city of Lakewood, and that her family is growing concerned about her well-being and is asking the public’s help in finding her.
