A fire in a Hyde Park residence was knocked down Wednesday, authorities said.
Smoke was reported around 11 a.m. Wednesday, emerging from the single-story house in the 5100 block of Seventh Avenue, between 50th and 51st Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fire was located in the rear room, and fully extinguished in 10 minutes, the department added.
All occupants had safely left the residence, and no injuries were reported.
