Authorities requested the public’s assistance Friday in locating an at-risk 46-year-old man last seen in East Los Angeles.
Abel Ruben Acosta III was last spotted Thursday around noon in the 5000 block of Eagle Street, near Garfield High School and Atlantic Boulevard, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau. Acosta was described as a 6-foot-1-inch tall Hispanic man weighing 200 pounds with brown hair and eyes. He also has a beard and was last seen wearing a blue long-sleeve button-up shirt and dark-colored jeans.
Sheriff’s officials stated that Acosta is believed to be traveling in a 2002 black Toyota Tacoma with California license plate 6Y67842, which has damage to the rear bumper and quarter panel, and that his family is increasingly concerned about his well-being.
