A 19-year-old man was charged Friday with fatally shooting a man in Garden Grove last week.
Chan Tham Giang is accused of shooting 26-year-old Trieu Huynh of Garden Grove about 11:20 p.m. last Friday in a parking lot near 9622 Garden Grove Blvd., according to police.
Huynh sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds Monday, police said.
Giang was charged with murder with a sentencing enhancement for the discharge of a gun causing death.
