A person was killed Thursday morning at a single-vehicle crash on the San Gabriel (605) River Freeway in Whittier.
The crash occurred about 8:10 a.m. Thursday on the southbound freeway at Slauson Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A dark-green Ford Explorer crashed into the center divider and the motorist inside the SUV was seen unconscious, the CHP said.
The cause of the crash was under investigation and details about the person’s identity were not immediately available.
