An armed suspect with a deadly weapon is barricaded in an unincorporated area of Gardena, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials said Friday.
Personnel from the department’s Special Enforcement Bureau are assisting deputies from the South Los Angeles Station with the suspect, who authorities reported had been barricaded in the 3100 block of 147th Street between Rosecrans and Marine avenues at 10:15 p.m. Thursday, the LASD reported.
SEB personnel will assume tactical command and a Crisis Negotiation Team is attempting to make contact with the suspect.
