A man was killed Saturday when he was shot next to a Glendale strip mall.
The shooting occurred about 3 p.m. at Colorado Street and Pacific Avenue, Glendale police Lt. Steve Corrigan told City News Service.
Officers responding to a call of possible shots fired found the victim down with gunshot wounds in a space between a strip mall and another business, Corrigan said.
Paramedics took the man to a hospital, where he died, the lieutenant said. The man’s identity was not immediately available.
Detectives and forensic specialists were at the scene, collecting evidence, Corrigan said.
A suspect description and motive were not immediately available.
