A crash in a North Long Beach intersection sent both drivers to a hospital Saturday.
The crash occurred at about 8:30 a.m Saturday at Atlantic Avenue and Harding Street, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
“The preliminary investigation suggests the female driver was traveling northbound on Atlantic Avenue and attempted to turn left onto Harding Street when her vehicle was struck by a southbound vehicle driven by the male driver, resulting in the collision,” police said.
The woman was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, while the man was taken to a hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries to his lower body, the department said.
