A man who died when the vehicle he was driving left the roadway and crashed down an embankment in Palmdale was identified Saturday.
Abraham Cervantes was 42 years old, according to the Medical Examiner’s office. His city of residence was not disclosed.
California Highway Patrol officers were called at 9:47 p.m. Friday to Juniper Ridge Road and Angeles Forest Highway, where they found a black Honda Civic approximately 50 feet down the embankment and the victim lying outside the car, CHP Officer Megan Curtis told City News Service.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
