A firearm was recovered during a traffic stop in Long Beach, authorities said Sunday.
The traffic stop, conducted by the Long Beach Police Department’s High Crime Focus Team, occurred at about 5:45 p.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of Locust Avenue.
“During their investigation, officers recovered a loaded firearm,” according to a police statement. “The suspect, determined to be a prohibited possessor, was arrested.”
No further information was immediately available.
