A Silver Alert was issued on behalf of an 85-year-old woman last seen Wednesday in Sherman Oaks.
Yelena Kozlova was last seen near the intersection of Addison Street and Van Nuys Boulevard around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the Silver Alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Kozlova was described as a 5-foot-4-inch tall woman weighing 130 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a tan coat, dark-colored pants, and utilizing a red walker.
Anyone with information regarding Kozlova’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
