Three motorists were arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and another motorist was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs at an overnight driver’s license/sobriety checkpoint in Jurupa Valley, authorities said Saturday.

Four vehicles were stored or impounded at the checkpoint on Mission Boulevard at Daly Avenue that began at 10 p.m. Friday and ended at 2 a.m. Saturday, according to Sgt. Rafael Lopez of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Seven citations were issued to motorists driving without a valid driver’s license and four citations were issued to motorists driving with a suspended license, said Lopez, who added that 308 vehicles were screened at the checkpoint.
