Sheriff’s homicide detectives were assisting Azusa police with investigating the deaths Saturday of a man and a woman.
The deaths were reported about 2 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of North Twintree Avenue at Haltern Street, an Azusa neighbhorhood, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The man and the woman were pronounced dead at the scene, sheriff’s officials said. The cause of the deaths was not released and the nature of the relationship of the two, if any, was not provided.
Investigators believe the two were killed by a man, but a description of the suspect was not made available.
