A man was shot and killed Monday in Long Beach, and an investigation was underway.
The shooting was reported about 3:50 a.m. in the 5400 block of Atlantic Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Firefighters took the man to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives were investigating, but no additional details were immediately available, police said.
