A 56-year-old woman found fatally shot in La Mirada was identified Monday as Rhonda Alder by the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives Monday were investigating the deaths of a man and woman found shot in La Mirada.
Deputies from the Norwalk Sheriff’s Station responded about 5:30 a.m. Saturday to a house in the 13200 block of Corley Drive, near Valley View Avenue, following a report of a gunshot victim at the location. At the scene, they found a man and a woman both shot, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Los Angeles County Fire Department firefighters responded and pronounced the two victims dead at the scene.
The man has not been identified.
