Authorities sought the public’s assistance Tuesday in locating an at-risk 71-year-old man who is a dependent on medication who was last seen in the unincorporated Westmont area.

William Frederick Crawford was last seen in the 1000 block of West 104th Street, near Vermont Avenue, around 5 p.m. Saturday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Crawford was described as a 5-foot-9-inch tall Black man weighing 170 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He also has a beard and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, a white T-shirt, and blue sweatpants.

Anyone with information regarding Crawford’s whereabouts was urged to call the Shrieff’s Homicide Bureau Missing Persons Detail at 323-890-5500. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or visit lacrimestoppers.org.
