Firefighters knocked down a fire Tuesday ignited by a sweat soldering operation at a two-story home in Mar Vista, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday to 3700 S. Ocean View Ave. had the fire out within 21 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The sweat solder operation in a room remodel produced fire in a wall, which then extended to the attic and roof of the two-story residence, the fire department said.
All occupants were out and no injuries were reported.
