A 29-year-old woman who was killed when two vehicles collided in Playa del Rey and one went over the side of the road striking her was identified Tuesday by county authorities.
The victim, Cecilia Milbourne, was pronounced dead at the scene, Los Angeles Police Department Officer D. Orris told City News Service.
The crash happened around 7:10 p.m. Sunday in the 8200 block of Vista Del Mar, next to the shoreline, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A 70-year-old man sustained minor injuries.
It was unclear what led to the crash.
