Police Thursday are investigating the fatal shooting a 17-year-old in El Sereno that authorities say is gang-related.
Los Angeles Police Department officers were called at around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday to 3620 Randolph Avenue, north of Huntington Drive where they found the victim on the sidewalk suffering from gunshot wounds, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
Police said the suspect was believed to be a gang member and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no further details and an investigation of the shooting is underway.
