A motorist suffered serious injuries Sunday when his vehicle crashed into a Los Angeles Fire Department engine in Pacoima, authorities said.
Two firefighters aboard the fire engine were also taken to a hospital with injuries, but were expected to survive, according to the LAFD.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the crash scene in the 13000 block of West Terra Bella Street at 10:45 a.m. Sunday.
The motorist was the lone occupant inside his vehicle.
No further information was immediately available.
