A person was killed Sunday morning when a vehicle overturned down an embankment at the Artesia (91) Freeway in Cerritos, authorities said.
The crash occurred at 2:30 a.m. on the freeway transition road connecting the eastbound Artesia (91) Freeway to the southbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.
A representative from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office was called to the scene at 3:07 a.m.
There was no other immediate information available.
