One person was injured and several dogs and a rabbit were rescued when a fire scorched a Pasadena apartment.
The fire was reported late Wednesday morning in the 100 block of Pepper Street close to the Foothill (210) Freeway, and it knocked down just before noon, according to the Pasadena Fire Department. Fire officials said the blaze began outside and spread into the apartment.
One resident was being evaluated for injuries, but the person’s condition was unclear.
No other apartment units in the complex were damaged.
