A fire at a two-story apartment complex in South Los Angeles was quickly knocked down by Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters Thursday.
Fire crews were called at 4:36 a.m. to 122 E. Adams Blvd. between Maple Avenue and Main Street where they found the flames had extended through the walls and into the attic, LAFD spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said.
It took 34 firefighters 31 minutes to put out the fire.
No injuries were reported, Stewart said.
