Officers dispatched about 9:10 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a stabbing in the 200 block of East Arbor Street, a couple of blocks north of Scherer Park, found the victim suffering from a non-life-threatening stab wound to the lower body, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital for his injuries.
The victim and suspect had been in a brief argument, which escalated into a stabbing.
