Several suspects were detained following the service of a search warrant at a warehouse in Costa Mesa stemming from an investigation of an illegal drug operation, police said Friday.

On Tuesday, investigators from the Special Enforcement Team, with the support of the Laguna Beach Police Department Detective Bureau, the California Department of Cannabis Control and California Tax Free Assessment personnel, executed a search warrant, according to the Laguna Beach Police Department.

During the search, investigators recovered approximately 451 pounds of cannabis products, which included loose marijuana buds, THC concentrates and edibles.

They also found 54 pounds of psilocybin mushroom products, including chocolate bars, micro-dose candies, and whole mushrooms.
