A 60-year- old man with limited verbal communication skills who went missing in Long Beach has been located, authorities said Saturday.
Norris B. Baldwin, who requires ongoing medical treatment, was previously last seen about noon Friday near the 3100 block of Long Beach Boulevard, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
He was later reported at 139th and Main streets in South Los Angeles. The California Highway Patrol notified the public of its canceled Silver Alert at 2:25 p.m. Saturday.
A Silver Alert is activated by the CHP when an elderly, developmentally or cognitively impaired person is missing and determined to be at-risk to aid in their quick recovery.
