A pedestrian was struck and killed Sunday by a hit-and-run vehicle in Pomona, authorities said.
Officers were dispatched at about 3:10 a.m. Sunday to Philadelphia and Palomares streets, where they located the pedestrian in the roadway suffering from severe injuries, the Pomona Police Department reported.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
