An at-risk 70-year-old man with an unspecified medical condition that impairs cognition was reported missing after being last seen Monday in Lancaster.

Leigh Everette Barber Sr. was last seen in the 44000 block of Division Street, near East Avenue J-7 around 7:45 a.m. Monday, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Barber was described as a 6-foot-tall Black man weighing 175 pounds with a bald head and brown eyes. He also has a goatee, a scar on the right side of his head, and was last seen wearing a gray long-sleeve shirt, sweat pants and blue shoes.

Sheriff’s officials said Barber’s family is growing concerned about his well-being and is seeking the public’s help in finding him.

Anyone with information regarding Barber’s whereabouts was urged to contact the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau Missing Persons Detail at 323-890-5500. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
