A carport fire with at least one involved vehicle was knocked down in Boyle Heights Saturday, authorities said.
Flames were reported from the rear of a row of one-story bungalows in the 3100 block of East Fairmount Street, by North Fresno Street, at around 2:45 p.m. Saturday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters gained access to a single-family dwelling next door and all occupants were safe.
Over three dozen firefighters knocked down the flames in 22 minutes, the LAFD added.
There were no reports of injuries.
