Authorities Sunday were searching for a man suspected of fatally shooting a woman near the Green Meadows neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Police received reports of a shooting in the 10200 block of San Pedro Street, by East 102nd Street, at about 4 p.m. Saturday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officers located a victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The victim was said to be in her early 30s.
The circumstances of the shooting were not immediately clear, and no suspect description was available.
